Push Rod Inspection Cables - Hydro Group
PUSH ROD INSPECTION CABLES:
Push rod cables are used for video inspection equipment used in the pipe inspection industry. These cables use a high tensile stress member in the centre of the cable. This unique design enables the cable to act as a rod to push equipment long distances into the pipe and ensure the video equipment can navigate tight bends. The outer jacket cable material is ¡®¡±low drag¡± high abrasion resistant, multi strand conductors are used to minimize fatigue due to extended flexing. Cables are also water blocked and bundled with an aramid braid.
Range Cables
Acoustic or magnetic signature ranges utilize a number of sensors which are positioned or anchored on the seabed. Range cables retain power, instrumentation & fibre optic (firer optic) data conductors, connecting the sensor to a shore langing & finally to a control or operation station
ROV Tether Cables - Hydro Group
Tethers supply the vital link from the ROV to the surface or control module. Either directly or via the tether management system (TMS) through the main lift umbilical. The total services provided by the tether are power, CCTV, signal, & communications via fibre (fiber) optical, coaxial, or twisted pair conductors.
Subsea Crawler Cables
Subsea crawler cables are similar to tether cables as they also link the vehicle to the control module, these cables provide electrical power, instrumentation, optical signal, & in some applications a hydraulic or air line.
