Several transverse and longitudinal conveyors to transfer the pipeline. Each module consists of motorized rollers with the corresponding electrical or hydraulic drives. Each roller is adjustable for different diameters of pipeline. They are coated with polyurethane for protection and the support structure is coated with a suitable epoxy or zinc based paint for protection against corrosion.
Line-up stations : Line-up stations provide vertical and horizontal motions for proper pipe alignment at the welding station. Line-up stations manipulate the pipe vertically and horizontally to achieve high speed joint alignment. Vertical and horizontal motions are powered by hydraulic cylinders. Line-up modules incorporate two modes of operation : fore and aft, for moving the pipe joint to the pipeline, and aft for maintaining a constant abutment pressure while tracking the pipeline during welding for proper pipe alignment at the weld station.
