Breakout Moulds - Hydro Group

Hydrobond Engineering Ltd is pleased to offer a full termination and moulding service.

We will manufacture your complete harness requirement with all breakouts required in accordance with your electrical / optical wiring diagrams.

Our break out harnesses are manufactured with either Hydrobond series connectors, customer specified third party connectors or customer supplied free issue connectors.

C200 Encapsulation Polyurethane

The C200 Encapsulating Rubber which Hydro Bond use for moulding cable splices and overmoulding connector housings etc. is a polyetherurethane rubber. This particular material is heat cured with a diamine based compound to form a polyetherurethane rubber with outstanding physical properties.

Cable Splicing Kits

Hydro Bond Cable Splicing Kits, manufactured from an extremely tough and durable rubber, offer the customer an infield emergency cable splicing repair system. Four standard moulds are available incorporating specially designed flexible cable grips, which accommodate a variety of cable sizes from 5mm to 32mm in diameter.

Cathodic Delamination Protection

Hydrobond Engineering offer an enhancement to our products called ‘Cathodic Delamination Protection’ (CDP), the process has been developed specifically for use in assemblies used in systems (such as submarines) that are not permanently grounded.
